ledge: The rocky ledge overlooked the valley.
fudge: The chocolate fudge was warm and gooey.
lodge: They stayed in a cosy lodge in the mountains.
hedge: The farmer planted a tall hedge around his garden.
ridge: The mountain had a sharp ridge at its peak.
judge: The judge listened carefully to the testimony.
smudge: There was a smudge of dirt on his face.
grudge: He held a grudge against his old friend.
trudge: They will trudge through the deep snow tomorrow.
fridge: The food was kept cold in the fridge.
pledge: He made a solemn pledge to help his community.
bridge: The old bridge crossed the river.
sludge: The muddy water was full of sludge.
porridge: For breakfast, she ate a bowl of hot porridge.
cartridge: The hunter fired a bullet from his cartridge.
partridge: The colourful partridge flew through the air.
knowledge: To the best of my knowledge, he’ll be there.
acknowledge: I acknowledge your hard work and dedication.
sledgehammer: The workers used a heavy sledgehammer to break the concrete.
