EIGH is a 4-letter grapheme that has two different sounds in words. EIGH is called a 4-letter grapheme because it represents one sound as in ‘weigh’ which sounds like the letter A and ‘height’ which sounds like the letter I.

Freight – The grocer has to pay freight charges on the goods delivered.
Sleigh – Santa rides in a sleigh for Christmas.
Inveigh – Many rappers inveigh against social norms in their music.
2. EIGH as long I sound
Height – Your height must be over 3 feet tall to get on the rides.
Sleight – The magician fooled everyone with a sleight of hand trick.
