EED is a rime in the English language. Words with one syllable that end with the rime EED begin with an onset made up of one consonant as in ‘feed’, or blends with two consonants as in ‘freed’. There are also words with 2 syllables with EED in the second part of the word as in ‘proceed’.

Freed – The girl freed the birds from her neighbour’s cage.
Greed – A scrooge is stingy and full of greed.
Speed – My new sports car has a lot of speed.
Breed – His dogs are all the same breed.
Bleed – Your cut is starting to bleed.
Steed – The stable is clean and ready for the new steed.
Creed – Students at this school live by the creed written for success.
3 letters + eed
Agreed – We have agreed to clean the house together, so let’s do it.
Indeed – John, you are a true hero indeed.
Exceed – Sorry, your bags exceed the weight limit that is allowed.
Pureed – Mom pureed vegetables to make a smoothie.
4 letters + eed
Succeed – Study your school work every day and you will succeed in exams.
Proceed – After the National Anthem played, we were allowed to proceed.
Linseed – Chefs use linseed in meat, bread, cake, cookies and smoothies.
